DescriptionBook 'Recurring Cleaning' about the state of cleaners in London.
With the intention of investigating social hierarchies, inequality, and domestic work I worked as a cleaner in five different houses across London. Recurring cleaning is an illustrated record of this investigative process.
This book is a collection of stories, but also a reflection on research methodology. By embracing the flaws of my ethnographic research, this book questions conventional research methodologies and highlights the work of domestic workers, who are often underappreciated and invisible.
