DescriptionWordplay relating to the mindset of making money is depicted in the form of tree branches, on which koban (小判, small gold coin) are bearing fruit. On the right below, Kashima Daimyojin (鹿島大明神, A god of Kashima Shrine), dressed as Ebisu (恵比寿, the Japanese god of fishermen and luck), holds a catfish under his arm, and on the left, a craftsman is dressed as Daikoku (大黒, the Japanese god of wealth and guardian of farmers).
