Ryutei Tanehiko III (三代目柳亭種彦) is a novelist-journalist of the late Edo and Meiji periods who was a personal admirer of Yanagitei Tanehiko and whose writing style he emulated. He is said to have been an expert on pictures, tea, Haikai (俳諧, Japanese poem) and theatre.
