This scene is an extract from the series Dance of Nine Changes Kokonobake no Uchi (九変化ノ内).
Tamamomae (玉藻前) is a legendary figure who is said to have been the favourite princess of Emperor Toba (鳥羽上皇) in the late Heian period. She is said to be a mythological fox, and after her true identity was revealed, she became a killing stone (殺生石).
