DescriptionView of a roof, concentrating on a particularly elaborate chimney stack and highly decorated eaves. Displays Lethaby's keen interest in architectural details and decoration. Like his studies of the leadwork and stonework at Haddon Hall and Duffield Hall (and also at Chartres), Lethaby turns what is essentially a detailed architectural study into a fine example of draughtsmanship and artistry.
