DescriptionMajor initial 'N', decorated with stylised flowers and shells, fleur-de-lis motifs and overpainting in white (which may originally have been silver). This initial probably originates from a choir book. (The pink bole support used in the gilt process is evident under damaged areas of gold leaf).
