Description11 shaped and laser cut pieces of wood from a project looking into how certain alloys or polymers can return to their orginal shape after being deformed by being heated. Of the project the designer says "This project aims to explore the function of and symbolic relationship between shape and memory alloy/polymers and the natural sensing system of wood. The intrinsic qualities of natural and artificial materials are investigated using the hybrid tectonic system to challenge preconcieved limitations and increase the potential of textiles."
