DescriptionFujimoto studied BA Textile Design at Central Saint Martins. The Fluxus movement and performance are key themes in her work: she uses the body as sculpture and her pieces can be worn for performance art. She is also inspired by Kabuki theatre costumes and the way they exaggerate the human form during performance. Fujimoto was the winner of the 2017 MullenLowe Nova Award.
