DescriptionJacquelyn Hodges studied MFA Fine Art at Wimbledon College of Arts. She says:
'As an artist who cuts, bends, deconstructs, assembles and twists materials my work is led or informed by material properties. While retaining the grounding, I expand painting through a range of mediums to create floor and wall based sculptural objects and site-specific installations. Exploring materials we come in contact with in our everyday lives. From familiar shapes and patterns to the glossy smooth surfaces we crave to touch. Hoping to add a sense of movement, or energy allowing the eye and the body to travel through the work. I create a space for these objects to come to life.'
