DescriptionHart studied BA Fine Art at Chelsea College of Arts. This piece forms part of his practice utilising multi-layered expression of sound and formal languages in painting. A blues dance was a British Caribbean phenomena of reggae and dub parties held late at night, usually with very little light. A reference to Malevich’s ‘Black square’ invites contemplation on the challenges and questions of the world’s past, present and future.
