DescriptionOtero studied BA Photojournalism and Documentary Photography at London College of Communication. She travelled to document the daily life of the Al-Rashaydeh tribe, located in the wilderness of the Jordan Valley in the occupied West Bank. They exist as refugees, who were driven from their place of residence on the shores of the Dead Sea after the first Israeli-Arab war. Otero's extensive project explores the economic, social and cultural situation of a Palestinian Bedouin family and their resilience in preserving their ancestral way of life.
