DescriptionFragment - probably comes from a Breviary (this page mentions the Feast of St.Cuthbert of Lindisfarne). A Breviary is a Service Book that contained the texts necessary for the celebration of the Divine Office. These are books often adorned with decorated or historiated initials. This would have originally been part of the Central School's Teaching Examples Collection.
