DescriptionHaskins studied BA Graphic Design Communication at Chelsea College of Arts. She aimed to uncover information and narratives with this project exploring the trade of colour and early origins of pigment. Whilst paintings are analysed and appreciated, the materials used to create the paintings are overlooked despite being an integral component. Haskins feels that the stories behind colour are hidden in essays and academic databases, so this project aims to visually celebrate these hidden histories.
