DescriptionFursdon studied BA Graphic & Media Design at London College of Communication. The piece is an interpretation development of the character Montag in the 1960s film Fahrenheit 451. Each sequential concrete-covered book symbolises Montag's standpoint within a dystopic society that has outlawed books. The artist makes a statement on projections of dystopic societies and their clandestinity, whilst simultaneously illustrating how society has formed around language and would crumble in its absence.
