DescriptionHeywood studied BA Ceramic Design at Central Saint Martins. Hailing from Cornwall, Heywood produces ‘ceramic seascapes’ derived from sketches and photographs and from his experiences in the water. He explores his compulsion toward the ocean: communicating both the capricious nature of the sea and the sensation of disjunction from reality and freedom one feels when adrift.
