'Somewhere Else is an interrogation into concepts of space, alienation and identity. There are understated suggestions relating to issues of migration. The series is about our relationship to space, stripping back layers of insecurity, alienation and loss. What’s left is an empty room, a barren beach, peeling paint and white walls, and a compromised archive – it’s this blankness that allows you to identify with your own fragmented experiences.'
