DescriptionChan studied MA Fine Art at Chelsea College of Arts. She explores our transient relationship with the built environment through the juxtaposition of two contrasting types of architecture: a Victorian pier in Northwest England and a rammed-earth roundhouse in Southwest China. Shifting between the micro and macro, this work investigates traces of human presence within these buildings: the fables and relics embedded in time and place.
