DescriptionSells studied MA Fine Art at Central Saint Martins. Her work is a study on Land, as the setting in which we enact our lives, where memories subsist and history is born, exerting a subtle power over humankind. The physicality of land runs parallel to the physicality inherent in her darkroom practice, she uses geometric angles and constructed planes to suggest our interference with nature and the desire to control. As a result of this artifice, the landscapes within each image wonder if they are real or imagined.
