DescriptionHamond studied BA Fine Art: Sculpture at Central Saint Martins. This work is from a series made by extracting the silver content from 16mm prints of well-known black and white films, then using that silver to produce new photographic images. This work uses the silver extracted from Rouben Mamoulian’s 1931 film Jekyll and Hyde to produce self-portraits shot in the artist’s studio.
