DescriptionWood studied MA Photography at London College of Communication. In this work, Shakespeare’s seven ages of man has been used as a framework to explore ideas around transition, the portrait and the limitations of narrative within the photographic frame. Exploring themes of identity, psyche and mortality, interpretive narratives are inherent within the photographic scenario in an attempt to provoke the viewer into reading or projecting their own meaning onto the image depicted.
