DescriptionMoore studied BA Painting at Chelsea College of Art and Design. Within her work there is a aesthetic relationship between the painting and those of Analytic Cubism, Vorticism, and 50s Modernist painting from Britain. The artists is interested in the illusionistic quality of the brush mark, in which it can be manipulated to have a sinister, razor-like appearance, or formed, by subsequent brushstrokes, into triangular, cone-like shapes.
