DescriptionBensasson studied MA Fine Art at Chelsea College of Arts. This painting depicts the Fine Art studios at the old Chelsea site in Wandsworth. Her work illustrates futility in the search for order in a chaotic world and is a celebration of the unpredictable patterns that result from that search. Removing the figure from a scene encourages the viewer to consider issues of selfhood, identity, anonymity and collectivity.
