DescriptionHiroshi Suzuki studied BA Silversmithing at Camberwell College of Arts. He says:
'My work combines two of my interests which seem to pull toward opposite directions. On one hand, I am very interested in exploring new surface qualities inspired by nature and transferring various material images onto the metal by experimental patination and etching processes. On the other hand, I reinterpret excellence in traditional pure handmade techniques such as raising and chasing. I try to apply these techniques creatively into contemporary metalwork, proving its great possibilities.'
