DescriptionCooley studied BA Sculpture at Central Saint Martins. This work was commissioned to mark the retirement of Professor McKenzie as the first Rector of the University (the London Institute). The bust was shaped in clay during many sittings between the artist and the sitter, before being cast in bronze.
