DescriptionPetros Chrisostomou studied BA Fine Art at Central Saint Martins. He says:
'I photograph miniature environments that I create. I explore ideas related to composition, and the glamorisation of combined and manipulated objects to portray an image that defies social interpretation. The materials I use are usually to hand, chewing gum tablets and Coca Cola caps etc.
I draw on the world around me to create a make believe world in my photographs. By doing this, I make comments on social situations and make statements about class and taste. The distortion of scale and its surreal effect are also recurring themes, as is the playful nature in the personalities that my objects adopt.'
