DescriptionBradáč studied at London College of Communication. The 'Postal Works' series originates from the artist's early days in London and his adoption of a new country. The artist captures a particular spirit of place (genius loci) in a self-addressed parcel, and then surrenders the object to the postal system. Artistic control is surrendered to an anonymous, bureaucratic institution which stamps, endorses and approves it.
