DescriptionBarfield served as Director of Research at Wimbledon College of Arts. His work builds on historical precedent and contemporary practices which exploit the potential for digital technology to operate in the spaces between art and science, knowledge and intuition, thought and feeling, to evolve new languages in response to experience and idea. This artwork forms part of the research project, 'The Integration of Computers within Fine Art Practice'. Barfield is now Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Provost at the RCA.
