DescriptionKennedy-Martin studied MA Fine Art at Chelsea College of Arts. His work concerns the inherent duality of the ideal of luxury: glamour, frivolity and excess contiguous with dissatisfaction and dissolution. Paintings are developed in black and white and glazed with layers of transparent colour to achieve an ethereal quality whilst maintaining a dark solid presence.
