the aluminium leaves are produced using the process of P.V.D. which in technical terms is the vapour deposition of aluminium on a non-woven fabric. The wires supporting the leaves are made of a new alloy called Argentium (a combination of silver and germanium), giving the silver extra spring and hardness.
