DescriptionHistoriated major initial 'O' (in greyish blue with overpainting) set on a gold rectilinear ground (outlined in black) with flourishing foliate extensions (stylised acanthus) in red and blue (again with overpainting, which now appears white but was probably silver). Decorative gold dots (outlined in black) (which are commonly found on Bolognese manuscripts from the 13th century). Latin text in textualis rotunda script.
