DescriptionA large number of well-dressed females cross the Nihonbashi Bridge (日本橋), a major transport hub in Edo. This is a parody of the procession of feudal lords (大名行列) in the Edo period, with the male replaced by female. Similar to this work, Utagawa Kunisato (歌川国郷) also published 'Toto Nihonbashi Wakadono Gyoretsu zu (東都日本橋若殿行列図),' a parody of the procession of feudal lords with the adults replaced by kids.
